How to Build Strong Legs - Three Simple Exercises

Here are three exercises that will show you how to build strong leg muscles. The three exercises include the dead-lift, squat,and the sprint.

Dead-Lift

The dead-lift helps in bending the leg muscles. In order to do this, you have to place a weight on a barbell and picking it up off the floor. This exercise is extremely simple, but it really works out your leg muscles. This is a good exercise on teaching you how to build strong leg muscles.

Squat

This is probably the most common of all five of the workouts mentioned. The squat is done by placing the barbell across the upper back from a squat and then raising the weight with your legs. This routine is done several times to achieve good results. You can also put the barbell in front of the body if you have back issues and need to relieve some of the stress.

Sprint

Sprinting helps in two ways. Not only does it build strong legs muscles, but it also really helps your heart. Sprinting is just the act of running as fast as you can. Most of the time sprinting is done in short distances rather than long distances. You can sprint on a flat surface or you can really work out your leg muscles by springs up hill. There are many variations on how you can sprint. Be creative.

These three exercises really help when you are wanting to build stronger leg muscles. Keep in mind that these exercises will not only strengthen your muscles, but it will also make them much larger unlike like other leg exercises such as calf raises and curls.
