How to Lose Weight and Feel Great
There are numerous methods and way out there in the world today to lose weight. Low Carb, Low Fat, High Protein, High Carb, etc. You've heard of them all. Well, the best way to lose weight and to get healthy in my opinion is this:
1. You must eat wholesome and organic foods. The term 'organic' itself isn't all that important. Just try try to eat vegetables and fruits that don't have pesticides, GMOs, etc. Don't eat meat that wasn't grass-fed and pasture raised.
2. Stay away from all refined sugars and carbohydrates. Stay away from white flour, white sugar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, artificial sweeteners like Splenda, aspartame, etc.
3. Avoid all trans fats and hydrogenated oils.
4. Strictly limit use of omega-6 vegetable oils. These include safflower, sunflower, soybean, etc. When you do consume them, make sure they're organic, unrefined, and expeller-pressed.
5. Use liberal amounts of traditional fats and oils, such as olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, lard, beef tallows, duck and goose fat, etc. Make sure they're organic, unrefined, from grass-fed / pastured raised animals, etc.
6. Eat quality whole grains and protein.
7. Strictly limit the use of soy products.
8. Consume raw organic dairy products, such as milk, yogurt, kefir, cheese, etc.
9. Eat many fermented foods, such as kimchi, sauerkraut, etc.
10. Stay away from highly processed foods, of all forms.
11. Read the wonderful works of Sally Fallon, Mary Enig, Jordan Rubin, Joseph Mercola, and other proponents of traditional foods.
